09/11/2009 For the 3rd year running Urbanwalks has mapped, measured and designed an active travel route for the North West Public Heath Annual Conference. This year the conference is being held at the Midland Hotel in Manchester and is incorporating the 17th annual WHO Regions for Health Conference. The aim of the active travel route is to encourage delegates to use public transport to the conference and then walk from the train station to the conference venue. All delegates receive a PDF copy of the active travel route, which is sent out to them in advance of the event. Urbanwalks will also be providing a display stand that will be in the conference exhibition area to display projects that we have completed to date.
